How We Work
Expertise
Worldcom PR Group EMEA agencies have a strong expertise in a broad variety of industries, including consumer goods, food & beverage, healthcare, technology, telecommunications, finance and public affairs. The region includes innovative firms specializing in building advocates and influence through word-of-mouth in new media, firms that offer unparalleled investor and corporate relations expertise, and those that are masters of the traditional media.
Philosophy
Frequent in-person meetings allow partners to know each other well, exchange best practices, explore new media tools and strengthen our expertise. They grow and share through our bi-annual peer reviews of each other’s management practices. The network and communication structure ensures ambitious and high quality standards, synergy of messaging and an optimized budget for the client.
Vision
The Worldcom Public Relations Group is a professional network of rigorously chosen independent public relations and integrated communications agencies. All our partners have a combination of deep industry expertise and extensive local market knowledge. It is this combination – along with adherence to stringent quality standards – that enables them to achieve demonstrable results for their clients.
Quality standards and best practices
- All partner businesses must meet requirements on minimum size, minimum revenue and length of existence
- Established policies and protocols for interaction, including rules of engagement, requests for assistance and best practices
- Comprehensive “Worldcom University” staff development program
- Bi-annual quality assessment by peers
- Delegates from each office meet face-to-face twice-yearly to share experience and best practices
- Specialized expertise practice groups
Worldcom PR Group counts with specific programs focused on young professionals, managed by the Worldcom Future Generation Group, giving them an opportunity to exchange experiences and lead initiatives related to 2.0 in their respective agencies. Recently, Eszter Szalkai from the Hungarian agency PROBAKO has been working at HBI, German agency based in Munich, for two weeks. Eszter's conclusions are the following: "The program is not only useful for learning from foreign PR specialists, getting an insight into the media landscape they are working in and exchanging ideas with them, but it is also a good opportunity for building a stronger connection with other member agencies".
